Small Business Administration Loan Programs

The 7(a) Loan Guaranty Program - One of SBA's primary lending programs. It provides loans to small businesses unable to secure financing on reasonable terms through normal lending channels. The program operates through private-sector lenders that provide loans which are, in turn, guaranteed by the SBA - the Agency has no funds for direct lending or grants.

Y2K Action Loan Program - Any 7(a) lender with a current 750 Agreement can utilize this program. Any borrower currently eligible under 7(a) can utilize this program. Use of Proceeds Loan proceeds can be used only to address the Year 2000 computer problems.

SBALowDoc Loan Program - The purpose of the loan is to start or grow a business: the existing business employs no more than 100 people, the business including affiliates has average annual sales for the preceding three years not exceeding $5 million, the business and its owners have good credit; and the business owners are of good character.

CAIP Loan Program - A loan program designed to provide financing to designated communities negatively impacted by changing trade patterns resulting from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Certified Development Company (504) Loan Program - The 504 Certified Development Company (CDC) Program provides growing businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as land and buildings.

International Trade Loans - If your business is preparing to engage in or is already engaged in international trade, or is adversely affected by competition from imports.

Export Working Capital (EWCP) Program - The Export Working Capital (EWCP) Program was designed to provide short-term working capital to exporters.

Pollution Control Loan Program - Pollution Control Loans are intended to provide loan guarantees to eligible small businesses for the financing of the planning, design, or installation of a pollution control facility. This facility must prevent, reduce, abate, or control any form of pollution, including recycling.

Defense Loan and Technical Assistance (DELTA) Program - Provides financial and technical assistance to defense-dependent small businesses adversely affected by defense reductions.
