About Terry R. Lazar
Mr. Lazar is a graduate of the City College of New York - The Bernard Baruch School of Business and was Editor of the Accounting Forum, the college's official accounting publication. He founded the firm of Lazar Borck Mensch & DeThomasis (formerly Lazar and Company) in 1977. A frequent lecturer on accounting and financial planning subjects, Mr. Lazar has been quoted in the December 1999 issue of the Long Island Business News regarding the firms value added services and our affiliated companies. Mr. Lazar was also one of the founders of the New York Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners (IAFP). Mr. Lazar has had extensive prior experience as a partner of a New York Stock Exchange member firm, as Vice President-Finance for a privately held provider of health care services as well as Financial Vice President of one of South Florida's largest real estate developers. Mr. Lazar has an extensive background in the healthcare industry and is a member of the Board of Directors of Cyber Care, Inc. a telemedicine company. Mr. Lazar is on the board of several nonprofit charitable organizations including American Friends of Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel, Development Committee of the Kaplan Center at NYU Medical Center, Long Island Cabinet of the State of Israel Bonds, Co-Chair of the American Friends of Tzohar, and President of American Jewish Committee Long Island Chapter.
